Rosendahl Design Group A/S UN Global Compact Communication on Progress 2021 • Foreword Foreword ACTING WITH CARE Throughout 2021 and as an integral part of the transforma- tion of our Group, Rosendahl Design Group has continued the push to increase emphasis on responsibility in all our actions. In our overarching business strategy, implemented last year, Corporate Social Responsibility is now one of our five prior - itized areas as it is integrated in our core business and ways of working. One of our ambitions is to gain greater insight into the imprint we leave and to obtain a more full understanding of the impact our business has on our partners, local communities and the climate and our environment. Another is to become even more transparent and to give further insight into our operations. We are happy that last year our efforts were acknowledged by our peers and by experts as our COP Report 2020 was includ- ed in the SME COP list by Global Compact Network Denmark and FSR - Danish Auditors as one of the most notable reports for Danish SMEs, among other reasons due to our structured approach of combining the principles of UN Global Compact with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as well as our cli- mate reporting on Scopes 1, 2 and 3. If anything, this recognition has spurred us on to further strengthen our commitment to report openly and to act in accordance with our values, in all parts of our business. Therefore, during 2021 we initiated a strategic project together with an external partner to develop a corporate CSR strate- gy encompassing the entire company, including formulating a social ambition and a firm promise to our surroundings, hand in hand with our values, vision and mission. Parts of the group’s leadership team has been trained as B-leaders, enabling us to use the B-Corp framework as a management tool going for- ward. As a next step, we will explore the possibility of Rosen- dahl Design Group achieving B-Corp certification. It gives me great pride, not only that the business has taken these steps. But in particular that all members of the organiza- tion have taken it upon themselves to play an active part in our transformation and to explore how they can help bring about change in their daily work.
