TIME PASSES - DESIGN LASTS FIVE DESIGNS FROM FOUR DECADES LK (1939) Was originally created as a desk clock for Lauritz Knudsen. The graphic design is charaterised by a personal, almost freehand look with double hands. STATION (1941) Replaces the original LK design because the production of double hands became too expensive. The clock has some thing of a ’Bauhaus’ look about it. ROMAN (1942) An overtly young Arne Jacobsen, a master of classic graphic art. The superior elegance of ROMAN is sure to impress. CITY HALL (1956) Typical of its era, stringent and unsentimental design - almost institutional. Silent and beautiful. BANKERS (1971) Minimalist and modernist in style. The elegant spiral helps accentuate the passage of time round the clock. Uret fremstår nærmest ’Bauhaus’ kt i sit udtryk.
